We invite applications for the position of Air Traffic Control Trainee.
The successful applicant will assume the role of an ‘apprentice’ that, while undergoing formal training in the practical application of ATC procedures, assists the team of Air Traffic Control Officers as part of the educational process which prepares him/her to become a certified ATC Officer. Subsequent to successfully completing formal Air Traffic Control (ATC) training, the Air Traffic Control Trainee’s primary role is to undergo On the Job Training under the supervision of a qualified On the Job Training Instructor until successful check out as an Air Traffic Control Officer (ATCO). The ATC Trainee will also provide assistance to the duty Air Traffic Control Officer in the efficient provision of Aerodrome and/or Approach and/or Combined control service through the receipt, interpretation and dissemination of Air Traffic information. Salary and Benefits: Salary range is between CI$18,305.00 - CI$35,016.00 per annum and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include: all expenses paid for training at an overseas center, a contributory pension plan, paid vacation, and health insurance. Deadline for applications: Friday, 4 May 2018.
