The Cayman Islands Airports Authority (CIAA) invites applications for the post of Airport Security Officer for both the Owen Roberts International Airport (ORIA) in Grand Cayman, and the Charles Kirkconnell International Airport (CKIA) in Cayman Brac.
The successful applicant will be part of a team whose primary responsibilities are to provide surveillance of, and deter, detect, and defend persons and property at airports in the Cayman Islands to prevent any act of unlawful interference against civil aviation in the territory, as dictated by CIAA policy and local and international requirements. The Airport Security Unit is responsible for ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures and Response Standard Operating Procedures are effectively applied.
Salary and benefits: Salary range is CI$42,444 – CI$57,036 and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include a contributory pension plan, paid vacation, health insurance and professional development opportunities.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing an airport development team and project managers to monitor the utilisation of airport infrastructure at ORIA and CKIA, airside and landside, ensure the timely development of Airport Master Plans and interim plans to address areas of concern that affect aerodrome safety, aviation security and airport level of service, and manage the implementation of agreed solutions following CIAA and Cayman Islands Government policy for procurement and project management.
